Deep Blue Pictures is a Central Florida based production company headed by award winning director, writer, and producer Tristan Anthony Ortiz. With over 4 years in the industry, Ortiz’s experience covers a wide range of film production stretching into narrative, documentary, commercial and corporate.

As a Puerto Rican-American, Tristan aims to make personal movies that tell big stories, just like the films he grew up on. He hopes to bring a visual voice to underrepresented communities and bring to light stories that aren’t usually showcased on the big screen, specifically Latino-based stories.
